OpenType Features
These show the available OT features, but not necessarily the entire glyhphset possible
for each feature. Check the Character Set to see if National has what you need. You should also consult your software manual to confirm OpenType support.
1 Ligatures (liga)
Ligatures are on by default. It is best to leave them on otherwise you may end up with unsightly clashes.

3 Contextual Alternates (calt)
These are usually on by default.

4 Capital Forms (case)
Activating the All Caps feature converts lowercase to upper-case and subs in cap-specific punctuation, parenthesis, dashes, slashes, @ and the Lining Figures.

5 Small Caps (smcp)
Activating the Small Caps feature converts lowercase to Small Caps and subs in smallcap-specific punctuation, parenthesis, dashes, slashes and &.

6 Fractions (frac)
National has prebuilt fractions in 8ths, quarters, thirds, and half. Arbitrary fractions are also supported.

7.1 Oldstyle Proportional (onum)
These are the default figures.

7.2 Lining Proportional (lnum)
Useful for all-caps settings. All currency symbols have alternate Lining forms.

7.3 Tabular Oldstyle (tnum)
All numbers share a common width, useful for tabular settings when numbers have to align vertically.

7.5 Slashed Zero (zero)
When zero has to be distinguished from O or o. All of the above numeral styles have a slashed zero.
